Technichal Sprint

Concept

We need to address purely technical challenges as well. It might range from refreshing the data in the development environment to upgrade the operating system at a virtual server. It can also be processes, i.e. to look at our current DevOps process to understand we kind of steps we need to take to improve it further. This is done during the Techincal sprint, a two week long sprint with a separate backlog.

This is also an excellent time to run workshops and necessary spikes. If time allows we like to end the sprint with a simple coding challenges, like the knapsack problem.

Ceremonies

We use the same ceremonies as during the normal sprints, i.e Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Refinement, Demo and Retrospective.
